5thColumn will be sponsoring the IJIS National Symposium in Arlington, VA, March 1-3. This is a must-attend technology event and training conference focused on information sharing and safeguarding with its associated standards.
The IJIS Institute has taken a leadership role in advancing their mission by creating a vital, collaborative forum for industry and government IT leaders and experts to advance information sharing and safe guarding practices, technology, and standards that will move information sharing along the road to greater adoption.
At this year’s National Symposium, 5thColumn joins major industry, government, and associated non-profit organizations to learn and collaborate with some of the most senior-level government officials, including the Governor of Virginia, Terence Richard McAuliffe. Other notable speakers include:
There will also panel discussions with representatives from Department of Justice, Fusion Centers, AT&T, and law enforcement agencies from the federal, state and local level from New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, and South Carolina.
“Our government and law enforcement agencies work tirelessly to anticipate all threats to our nation’s peace, safety, and cybersecurity, and to make decisions to react effectively when incidents occur. Safe guarding information is now a major factor in helping to save lives.” said Andro Dio, Director of Systems Engineering at 5thColumn. “We look forward to contributing 5thColumn’s knowledge of cybersecurity and threat analytics for the success of these standards initiatives and are proud to sponsor the IJIS National Symposium.”
